The Superintendent will oversee daily on-site operations, including project scheduling, safety walks, subcontractor coordination, and problem-solving to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. Superintendent Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of ground-up commercial construction projects
- Supervise daily on-site operations and ensure adherence to project schedules
- Coordinate with subcontractors, project managers, and trades to maintain timelines and resolve issues
- Conduct safety walks, owner meetings, and scheduling/coordination sessions
- Oversee project milestones and hold stakeholders accountable for deliverables
- Review and respond to RFIs, monitor materials usage, and manage job site scopes
- Maintain strict adherence to safety, quality, and efficiency standards
- Utilize Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Suite to track project progress and manage documentation
- Serve as a mentor, providing guidance and training to project teams
- Minimum of 5 years as a Superintendent for ground-up commercial construction projects
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Suite, specifically Excel formulas
- Familiarity with Procore, Bluebeam, and P6 scheduling
- Experience managing concrete, steel, and wood construction projects
- Knowledge of GSFIC processes is a plus
- Proven track record of mentoring and leading teams effectively
- Organized, decisive, positive, and solution-oriented with excellent time management skills
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management is preferred but not required for experienced candidates
