A leading manufacturer serving the aerospace and defense industries is seeking a Temp Staff Accountant to support its accounting team during a critical audit process. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with manufacturing experience, ERP knowledge, and a strong understanding of inventory accounting. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, tech-savvy, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Temp Staff Accountant Responsibilities

• Assist in audit preparation by pulling reports, invoices, and inventory data
• Navigate ERP systems to locate, verify, and upload accounting documents
• Reconcile profit/loss statements and analyze financial data
• Support accounts receivable and accounts payable processes as needed
• Identify inventory items and match them to corresponding AP invoices and receivers
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records for audit compliance
• Collaborate with the CFO and accounting team to streamline audit procedures
  
  

Temp Staff Accountant Requirements

• 3-5 years of accounting experience
• Manufacturing industry experience required
• ERP system proficiency and strong technical skills
• Solid understanding of inventory accounting
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field highly preferred
• Audit experience is a plus
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving skills
