We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Project Estimator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the planning and execution of construction projects by providing accurate cost estimates and ensuring that all project specifications are met. This position requires a strong understanding of construction management principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects by analyzing project plans, specifications, and other documentation.
- Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to gather necessary information for accurate estimating.
- Utilize construction estimating software and tools, including Bluebeam and Primavera, to enhance efficiency and accuracy in estimates.
- Review contracts and ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
- Conduct site visits to assess conditions, gather data, and evaluate project feasibility.
- Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing.
- Create comprehensive reports that outline estimated costs, timelines, and resource requirements.
- Assist in project coordination by participating in meetings and providing input on budgeting and scheduling.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of construction management practices and principles.
- Proficiency in project coordination with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Experience using Bluebeam for takeoffs and estimating processes.
- Familiarity with contract analysis and compliance within the construction industry.

- Previous experience in construction estimating is highly desirable.
