CNC Mill/Lathe Operator
Bowden Manufacturing is looking for highly motivated individuals to add to our Production Team. Our team of operators are crucial to the success of Bowden Manufacturing. CNC operator position running various CNC machines, including mills and lathes, ranging in required skill-level. Candidates will receive on-the-job training in the proper operation of various machines as well as the proper use of various inspection equipment/metrological devices.
Responsibilities
- Operate CNC machinery to manufacture high-quality precision parts
- Adjusting tool offsets and work origins as necessary
- Monitor tooling for signs of wear or breakage and replace as needed to prevent downtime
- Conduct routine in-process inspections to ensure all parts meet quality and specification standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area to support productivity
- Promote and adhere to all safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment
- Perform basic machine maintenance and assist with preventative maintenance tasks as required
Qualifications
- Must be a US citizen
- Pre-employment drug screen and background check
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods
- Strong mechanical and technical skills with an ability to work with CNC machinery
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, ensuring products meet strict quality standards
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to ensure clear communication with supervisors and team members
- Familiarity with metrology tools and practices is a plus
