This is a great opportunity to build your resume! Help us open a new shelter and provide leadership as we address the medical and mental health needs of our clients. R esponsible for performing Health Evaluations as needed. Responsible for supervising small staff of Licensed Practical Nurses . Responsibilities include assessment and triage of medical needs of homeless women new to the shelter system. Development, implementation and monitoring the short-term care plan, overseeing charting, medication monitoring, and insuring compliance with all governing parties. Work in conjunction with a multidisciplinary team. Related duties as assigned.
HOURS :
Full-time 37.5 hours per week
- Monday-Friday 9am-5 : 30pm
QUALIFICATIONS :
NY State RN license required with strong clinical experience working in ER, urgent care, psychiatry or with homeless persons would be helpful. Supervisory experience preferred. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Basic computer literacy required.
