We are actively seeking an experienced, motivated individual to join our mineral title team.
Under the training, direction and supervision of attorneys in our Energy Group, the Abstractor/Title Opinion Drafter will draft title opinions, conduct searches of public records and examine titles and summarize information with regard to deeds, leases and other documents. Prior oil and gas experience abstracting and drafting title opinions in West Virginia, Pennsylvania and/or Ohio is strongly preferred.
Candidates must have strong verbal and written communication skills; organizational skills; computer skills; attention to detail, as well as the ability to convey information effectively; and work efficiently with a heavy workload in a fast-paced environment. Ability to multi-task and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and Outlook) and plotting programs (NetDeed Plotter, etc.) required.
Must pass all required background checks, including Criminal.
