Are you looking for the opportunity to join an amazing team? Our company is searching for a Marina Manager for our north Panama City Beach location. The Marina Manager is the ambassador of the marina, and the person customers will interact with first when they are at the facility, and should take ownership and pride in the facility. The Marina Manager is responsible for all aspects of the yard, and its crew. This position reports to the Regional Manager and/or COO.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
· Responsible for launching and hauling of boats in a timely and safe manner.
· Manage prospective storage customers, leasing slips, keeping track of the rental wait list.
· Ensure that the daily dock walk, and weekly barn walk are complete and accurate.
· Serve as a point person to help maintain accuracy and alignment of policies, procedures, processes, regulatory and safety procedures.
· Marina employee scheduling, and employee equipment training.
- Strong mechanical aptitude, with the ability to do basic service and maintenance on equipment.
· Clear understanding of the Point-of-Sale system and its functions.
· Must have basic computer skills for email, Word, Excel, and launch software.
· Monthly marina safety training for all staff.
· Interact with all subcontractors and enforce the company subcontractor policies.
· Aware and capable of preventing hazardous situations before they become critical.
· Reports any hazards, problems, or complaints at the facility to Management and participates in the efficient resolution.
· Report, document, track incidents and maintain an incident log.
· Always maintains a professional and positive demeanor on the premises.
· Self-motivated and vigilant with attention to detail in handling equipment, boats, and assisting customers.
· Must demonstrate a high regard for safety.
· Ensure property is maintained to a high standard.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of three years in marina management or similar field.
- Strong marine background that includes operating vessels.
- Ability to provide a high level of service and a memorable experience for our clientele.
- Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Willing to work a five-day work week.
- Capable of multi-tasking.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Able to perform necessary maintenance functions to keep the marina equipment operable.
- Able to operate a tractor to launch boats
- Able to work alone and as part of a team.
- Good organizational skills.
