We are a well-established Managed Service Provider (MSP) is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Account Executive (MSP Sales) to join our team in Missouri City, Texas. This role is ideal for professionals with experience in the MSP industry, who are passionate about delivering top-notch IT solutions to clients.
During the initial training period, the role will require more on-site presence. After training, the schedule will be approximately 60% on-site (client visits or office) and 40% remote work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation: Identify and connect with potential clients in the finance industry, including trusts, wealth management firms, and financial advisory companies.
- Consultative Selling: Engage with prospects to understand their challenges—such as compliance, cybersecurity, and operational efficiency—and present tailored IT solutions, including secure desktops, cloud management, and ransomware prevention.
- Networking: Represent our company at finance-focused trade shows, networking events, and industry conferences to build awareness and connections.
- Market Expertise: Stay informed about trends, regulations, and pain points in the financial sector to position our services as essential solutions.
- Relationship Building: Cultivate strong, trusted relationships with key decision-makers, including IT directors, compliance officers, and executives within financial firms.
- Pipeline Development: Maintain and grow a robust sales pipeline using CRM tools, ensuring consistent follow-up and deal progression.
- Collaboration: Work with marketing and technical teams to craft proposals and campaigns tailored to the specific needs of financial clients.
- Closing Sales.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 4 years in B2B IT sales, specifically selling solutions to the finance industry, distribution, e-commerce, companies with in-house developed application. Solutions include full IT services, cybersecurity, compliance tools, and application development.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in the finance or professional services sector.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Proficient in CRM platforms such as ConnectWise
- Familiarity with selling IT services or technology solutions
