IT Support Specialist Tier II– MSP
Location: Onsite in Norcross, GA
Compensation: $55,000 – $70,000
Schedule: Monday–Friday, Full-Time
A growing Managed Service Provider is seeking a skilled IT Support Specialist Tier II to join its team in Norcross, GA. This is an opportunity to work directly with dental practices to provide reliable, HIPAA-compliant technology support while growing your technical expertise in a niche industry.
About the Role
This is a hands-on, client-facing position focused on supporting IT environments in dental practices. You’ll be responsible for day-to-day troubleshooting, maintenance, and the deployment of new technologies. This role is roughly 80% support and 20% project implementation. You’ll work both onsite and remotely, serving as the bridge between the client and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, networks, servers, and cloud-based services
- Troubleshoot issues related to Windows systems, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and basic networking
- Assist in the implementation and configuration of new hardware and software in dental offices
- Document all client interactions, resolutions, and system changes accurately
- Support small project implementations in collaboration with senior engineers
- Maintain awareness of client technology environments and proactively recommend improvements
- Serve as a liaison with clients to ensure their full IT stack is considered in all service engagements
Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in IT support, preferably within a healthcare or MSP environment
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, and desktop OS (Windows 10/11)
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 administration and support
- Familiarity with basic networking: TCP/IP, switching, routing, DHCP, DNS
- Clear and confident communicator with strong documentation skills
- Self-motivated and comfortable managing multiple tasks in a dynamic environment
- Experience supporting hybrid environments is a plus
