We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Pricing Analyst to join our team in the distribution market. The Pricing Analyst will be responsible for developing pricing strategies, analyzing pricing trends, and providing insights to enhance profitability and market competitiveness. The ideal candidate will utilize data analysis to support pricing decisions, monitor market dynamics, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with overall business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
· Conduct comprehensive pricing analysis to evaluate and recommend pricing strategies for various distributors and products in the market.
· Monitor competitor pricing and market trends to identify opportunities for price adjustments and improvements in pricing strategies.
· Collaborate with sales, marketing, and finance teams to develop pricing models that align with business goals and enhance revenue generation.
· Maintain pricing databases, ensuring accuracy and consistency in pricing structures across all distribution channels.
· Conduct profitability analysis by evaluating sales data, margin reports, and customer feedback to inform pricing adjustments.
· Prepare and present pricing recommendations and reports to management, outlining analytical findings, trends, and potential impacts on sales and profitability.
· Utilize statistical tools and software to analyze large datasets and draw meaningful insights regarding pricing effectiveness and market conditions.
· Support the development of pricing policies and guidelines to standardize pricing strategies across the organization.
· Assist in the implementation of pricing software and tools to enhance pricing strategies and reporting capabilities.
· Stay updated with industry best practices, economic factors, and technological advancements impacting pricing strategies in the distribution market.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
· Proven experience in pricing analysis, financial analysis, or data analysis, preferably in the distribution market.
· Strong analytical skills with proficiency in statistical analysis and data interpretation.
· Experience with pricing software and tools.
· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information clearly and effectively.
· Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data management and reporting.
· Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools; experience with SQL or similar database management systems is a plus.
