What are the responsibilities and job description for the Draftsman/Designer position at Boxwood Cabinetry?
Boxwood Cabinetry is a leading provider of custom cabinets to the Oklahoma City Metro Area. We specialize in new residential construction and partner with home builders/designers to make the clients ideal house become a home through well designed cabinetry.
As a Draftsman/Designer you be working directly with the drafting team to prepare jobs, help price and get great training on how to use Cabinet Vision to layout jobs. As well as preparing the jobs to be placed into final production, that is building cut lists for the shop.
Responsibilities Include:
- Prioritize assignments and responsibility in accordance with your daily tasks and maintain a consistent pace of task completion
- Learn to use our CAD program Cabinet Vision to draw and layout client jobs
- Understand and interpret architectural drawings and prepare jobs for drafting team
- Learn to price jobs
- Ability to review the architectural plans and point out possible problems early
- Batch jobs and build cut lists for production
- Perform additional duties and assignments as requested

Required Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma
- Computer Competency and Experience

- 7:30am-5:30pm Monday-Thursday/7:30am-11:30am Friday (Full Time)

Pay: $15.00 - $22.00 per hour
