What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inside Sales Representative Machine position at Boyd CAT?
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, engineering or equivalent industry experience Sales/Marketing preferred
- Ability to climb on and inspect equipment
- Ability to communicate effectively in spoken and written English
- Ability to travel with overnight stays
- Ability to operate a PC (Windows, Excel, & Word)
- Possess a valid driver’s license
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Call 40 low par prospects each week, qualify leads, enter the information in Sales Link and pass the information to the DSRs.
- Handle walk-in customers and be able quote and close deals with walk-in customers who are not currently being called on by an MSR.
- Work with the DSRs when an existing customer comes to the store to look at machinery.
- Assist the RSM and DSRs with sales documentation, including but not limited to: RPOs, Loaners and Emails in AX
- Assist the DSRs with locating and transporting machines for rentals, sales, demos and loans.
- Utilize CFSC quote express software for deal velocity.
- Ability to understand and utilize AX, Sales Link and other company software.
- Obtain estimates from Service Departments for machine modifications.
- Work with credit and accounts payable to assist in the resolution of customer issues.
- Perform all tasks in a professional, accurate, and timely manner, meeting designated completion deadlines with limited supervision.
- Actively participate in sales training, ride with MSRs at the direction of the RSM and develop selling skills.
- Advise the RSM of customer problems or complaints.
- Accommodate customer emergency needs during non-scheduled work days/hours.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding company information.
- Recommend to manager ideas to improve the department’s operating procedures or business practices and participate in and support continuous improvement of all related activities and processes
- Project a positive image by interacting with fellow employees, customers, and management in a cooperative, supportive, and courteous manner; display a professional attitude; comply with company dress code
- Create and maintain good communications (verbally and in writing) and relationships with other Company departments, branches, employees, outside vendors, and customers by addressing and resolving concerns quickly
- Follow all work, safety rules, and procedures
- Perform other duties as necessary and assigned
