What are the responsibilities and job description for the CLUBHOUSE MANAGER position at Boyd Sports?
Position Overview
The Clubhouse Manager will report directly to the General Manager. They will oversee the management and maintenance of both the home and visiting clubhouses during the 2025 Elizabethton River Riders season. The Clubhouse Manager must be able to interact professionally with umpires, coaches, and players on both teams.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the clubhouse maintenance and upkeep including trash, cleaning and stocking bathrooms, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, etc., as needed
- Assist in loading/unloading team buses for team arrivals and departures, as needed
- Oversee team laundry and towels
- Overseeing in keeping clubhouse snacks/beverages stocked
- Overseeing preparation, set up and breakdown of pre/post-game meals
- Set up of field for early field work, batting practice, and game (includes turtle and screens)
- Oversee bullpen clean up
- Provide general support and fulfill baseball-related requests from staff and players
- Provide exemplary service to umpires, players & staff
- Occasionally, may be tasked with running errands outside the ballpark
- Other tasks, as assigned by the General Manager
Qualifications
- Ability to perform all responsibilities listed
- Reliable transportation
- Availability one week prior to season start, ALL home games and playoffs (May 27th - Aug. 8th, 2025)
- Must be able to lift more than 50 lbs. and stand or walk for long periods of time in adverse weather including rain and heat

- A self-starter, with exemplary customer service skills
- Possess superior organizational skills and cleanliness
- Willingness to pursue a career in the sports industry
