Are you a detail-oriented, proactive professional with a passion for numbers and problem-solving? We’re looking for an Accountant to become an integral part of our finance team. You'll have the opportunity to grow quickly, contribute to key financial processes, and play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our financial reporting.
Responsibilities
- Rotational Assignment: You'll start with a comprehensive learning experience, quickly mastering key functions such as Accounts Receivable (AR), banking, cost accounting, and general ledger activities.
- Financial Reporting: Lead the monthly closing process, ensuring accuracy in journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis, including fuel inventory, margin analysis, and management reporting.
- Collaborative Work: Work closely with both internal teams and external stakeholders, communicating financial information clearly and effectively.
- Go Beyond the Basics: Bring your initiative to the role by assisting with tasks beyond the standard responsibilities, including backup support for coworkers, clerical tasks, and other ad-hoc duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Experience: 1-2 years of accounting experience, ideally in a related office setting.
- Education: A degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a similar field is highly preferred, but relevant work experience will also be considered.
- Industry Knowledge: While experience in the fuel industry is a plus, it's not a requirement—we’re looking for the right attitude and the desire to learn!
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a customer-oriented approach to both internal and external interactions.
Salary : $24 - $33
