Dining Room Supervisor
The Dining Room Supervisor is responsible for assisting the Forty Acres Tavern Manager in all aspects of the restaurant, primarily floor management. This role involves effectively leading 15-20 staff members in a dining room setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with scheduling, daily staffing levels, payroll, and inventory management.
- Maintaining cleanliness of the restaurant, including service stations and banquet areas.
- Taking appropriate action on any complaint or problem to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Working closely with culinary and other departments to plan and coordinate banquet events and restaurant operations.
- Maintaining awareness of accident prevention, safety, and fire prevention measures.
- Ensuring accurate and timely reporting to support data-driven decision-making.
- Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and quality through new methods, techniques, equipment, and materials.
Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or equivalent, along with six months to one year of related experience and/or training.
- Previous supervisory experience is preferred.
- Familiarity with point of sale software and Microsoft products such as Word and Excel is beneficial.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and guest relation skills are essential.
- Extensive knowledge of all positions in a restaurant setting is required.
