Responsibilities
The Prep Cook's typical job functions include:
- Preparing cold entrees, salads, and desserts according to food handling guidelines, recipes and cooking procedures
- Performing duties and closing procedures including equipment maintenance and shut off, cleaning, sanitation, and organization of kitchen, walk-in coolers, and all storage areas
- Adhearing to all safety standards and completing all related trainings
This position might be for you if:
- You are at least 16 years old
- You are available to work evenings, weekends and holidays
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Able to lift up to 25 pounds; stand for long periods of time
- Possess ServSafe Certification or obtain upon hire
