Overview
Greet and interact with guests making the features of the Adventure Center a safe and fun experience for guests. This job includes leading base and summit snowshoe tours, and renting out Nordic/snowshoe equipment to guests and the processing of related paperwork. As a customer focused organization, a crucial part of each employee’s job is to get and keep guests.
Responsibilities
- Lead guests on a variety of snowshoe tours ranging from 1 ½ - 3 hours along the Pemigewasset river or to the Summit of our three peaks.
- Fit Nordic equipment and Snowshoe equipment with brief instruction on how equipment should be used. Direct, with a map, what trails are available for specific equipment rented.
- Clean Adventure Center on a regular basis alongside other staff. Keep walkways outside clean of ice and snow.
- Occasionally patrol Cross Country trails on skis or snowshoes.
Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
