We offer a wide range of programs to youth ages 4 to18 years old, including after-school programming, school break day camps, and summer camps. Position Overview :
The IT Specialist is responsible for providing technical support to all users, managing IT systems, ensuring the provision of efficient IT services, and supporting the organization's IT-related needs. The role includes strategic planning, project coordination, and ensuring security of data, network access, and backup systems.
Key Responsibilities & Essential Functions :
Strategic Planning :
- Provide direction and support for IT solutions that enhance mission-critical business operations.
- Work closely with decision makers in other departments to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support cost-effective technology solutions for all aspects of the organization.
- Define and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Develop and implement all IT policies and procedures, including those for architecture, security, disaster recovery, standards, purchasing, and service provision.
- Stay current with technological developments and recommend ways to take advantage of new technology.
- Control and assess the information technology budget.
