Boys & Girls Aid in Portland, OR is looking to hire a part-time Foster Care Adoption Clinician. This part-time, 20-hour Adoption Clinician position earns $22.00/hr.
Spanish bilingual-speaking employees are eligible for an additional 8% pay differential. This role offers flexible time off, paid holidays, an employee assistance program, and a 403(b) retirement plan with a 4% employer contribution after six months. Our agency also qualifies for Student Loan Forgiveness.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A FOSTER CARE ADOPTION CLINICIAN
As a Foster Care Adoption Clinician, you will have a rewarding job doing the following:
- Using your clinical skills to assess families who wish to adopt a child currently in foster care.
- Conducting home visits, interviewing prospective families, and writing home studies reflecting each family's abilities to provide a nurturing home for a child or sibling group.
- Facilitating the adoption matching, transition and placement process in a child-centered, trauma informed manner.
- Providing meaningful support, guidance and training to families during their adoption journey.
- Making a difference in the lives of children and families gives you an incredible sense of purpose and that is why you love your job!
QUALIFICATIONS FOR A FOSTER CARE ADOPTION CLINICIAN
- Master's Degree with one year post-graduate relevant experience, or a Bachelor's Degree plus four years relevant experience
- Lived expertise in any aspect of foster care or adoption is considered a valuable qualification.
- Valid driver's license and a good driving record.
