What are the responsibilities and job description for the Philanthropy Officer position at BOYS & GIRLS CLUB OF AUSTIN?
Duties:

Develop and implement fundraising strategies to meet organizational goals for qualifying donor contributions as well as recapture from previous donors.

Conduct research to identify potential donors and funding opportunities.
Cultivate relationships with individual donors, corporate sponsors, and grant-making organizations.

Plan and execute fundraising events and campaigns.

Implement a program/activity to identify, cultivate, solicit and steward donors at the $5K level or higher.

Utilize fundraising software, such as Raiser's Edge, to track donor information and manage fundraising activities.

Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials and raise awareness of fundraising initiatives.

Provide excellent customer service to donors and stakeholders.

Maintain accurate records of donations and donor communications.
Experience:

Proven experience in fundraising or a related field.

Strong knowledge of fundraising principles and techniques.

Bachelors Degree required.

Minimum 5 years of fundraising leadership experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience required.
