Youth Development Professional (Summer Season)
SUMMARY:
Youth Development Professionals provide club members with instruction and supervision during daily programs and activities which include elements of Boys & Girls Clubs of America’s (BGCA) core program areas. These programs and activities are age appropriate, produce measurable outcomes, and enhance a member’s sense of belonging, usefulness, influence, and competence.
Seasonal / Summer Monday – Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm
Summer Program Dates May 22, 2023 – August 11, 2023
Salary Range 12.50 – 16.00 / hour
Administer and / or assist in planning, implementation and evaluation of one or more of the following Boys & Girls Club of Massillon programs:
Fine Arts / Reading & Math
MyFuture Computer Tech / UPS Road Code / Positive Action / Money Matters
Youth Sports Camps / Fitness & Nutrition / Game Room / Video Gaming Center
PREREQUISITES:
- Pursuing or completed college / university course work that includes fields related to one or more of the following: education, technology, arts, or sports/recreation management.
- All applicants must complete a criminal background check.
- This position requires that the employee must have and maintain a valid driver’s license with current insurance.
