Summary
We are seeking a Concession Worker to join our team at the Boys & Girls Club of McAllen. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while preparing and serving food at our concession stand. Your contributions will help create a welcoming atmosphere for our members and support our mission of youth development.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve food items in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service to all members and guests.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately and efficiently.
- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the concession area.
- Promote menu items through upselling techniques to enhance sales.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food preparation or customer service preferred.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Basic knowledge of food safety practices is a plus.
