Join our NEW and innovative early childhood enrichment center dedicated to fostering creativity, curiosity, and a love for learning in children. Our programs exist to nurture each child’s unique potential through hands-on exploration, play-based learning, and supportive guidance through conscious discipline.
As the Preschool Early Enrichment Program Coordinator, you will lead a team of teachers in our early learning program with care and dedication, ensuring a safe, enriching environment for infants and toddlers. Your advanced knowledge of child development and early education will inspire both staff and families, while your commitment to professional growth will ensure teachers have the resources, support, and guidance they need to succeed.
In this role, you’ll develop and implement engaging curricula, supervise a talented team of lead teachers, classroom assistants and program facilitators and build strong connections with families. Through daily communication, you’ll keep parents informed about their child’s progress, Club events, and more. Your leadership will also ensure compliance with licensing standards while reflecting the Boys & Girls Club’s mission to provide high-quality, inclusive programs.

As a preschool early enrichment program coordinator, you will:
- Oversee all daily program operations, with support from the center director.
- Lead by example, embodying our core values of good character, excellence, teamwork, and a commitment to being impact driven.
- Provide teachers with resources, support, and guidance to foster professional growth.
- Offer performance coaching, modeling, training, observation, and constructive feedback.
- Use educational quality tools to evaluate program and curriculum implementation.
- Develop and execute improvement plans to ensure excellence in teaching and learning.
Qualifications:
- Candidates must pass required state and company background checks
- At least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED (general education development) certificate required
- At least two years of teaching experience in a high-quality program required, experience working in a NAEYC (National Association for the Education of Young Children)-accredited center strongly preferred
- At least two years of leadership, mentoring, or coaching/management experience strongly preferred
- Meets requirements to apply for SDECE (South Dakota Early Childhood Enrichment) Pathways Level 6 (level 7 and above highly preferred)
- Level 6: 12 credits of Early Childhood Education courses earned OR Out-of-School Time Credential OR Current CDA Credential
- Level 7 - 60 credits OR Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or Elementary Education

Compensation:
- Starting at $45,000/year based on experience
