Job Summary:
The KidsCare Early Bird Supervisor oversees the planning and delivery of early bird KidsCare programs, ensuring and coordinating staff coverage across sites. This role also provides essential administrative support for all KidsCare operations.
Work Schedule:
Full-time, 40 hours/week
Monday-Friday, 5:15am-2:15pm
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Oversees the daily operations of Early Bird sites. Includes but is not limited to finding coverage for call-offs. If coverage is not available, cover the site in need.
- Manages communication with Early Bird site staff, parents, and guardians regarding KidsCare operations and general information.
- Responsible for collecting cash receipts and payment logs at designated sites Early Bird sites when not covering.
- Collaborate with KidsCare operation team, providing guidance and insight into the needs of Early Bird programming.
- Operate and follow protocol of company vehicles.
- Monitor inventory levels of program supplies and materials, food supplies, and site technology requirements and communicate the needs to management.
- Support administrative needs of programming, including Indiana Kids.
- Lead process for connecting with families whose membership is past due and developing plans for payment.
- Supporting club membership enrollment and data through MyClubHub membership database.
- Ensure the health and safety of all children at designated sites by ensuring that program staff and members understand and follow behavioral expectations and that facility requirements are met.
- Support summer programming by providing Early Bird coverage and program support.
- Ability to uphold the organization’s mission and values.
- Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of two years experience in a role supervising staff and school-aged children in a group setting
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated competence working with youth.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Experience working with youth with special needs and/or requiring mental health services
- Proficiency in using a variety of computer software applications, specifically Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities including supervisor of staff and children in program activities.
- Reliable transportation, a safe driving record, an active driver’s license, and automobile insurance are required.
- Position may require standing/sitting for extended periods of time, reaching overhead, above the shoulders, and horizontally, bending at the waist, and the ability to lift, carry, pull, or otherwise move objects up to 20 lbs.
