Job Summary:
This position is the friendly face welcoming all members and guests as they enter Club. In addition to managing member check in, this person is responsible for ensuring safety compliance in regards to parents and other visitors.
Weekly Hours & Schedule
- Full time, 40 hours per week
- Monday-Friday 11:30am-8:00pm (Hours switch in the summer to Monday-Friday 9:30am-6pm)
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Enter and manage membership data and information through data-based program (Y.E.S.).
- Manage membership reporting in collaboration with site leadership and administration as needed.
- Provide information and reports as needed to support grant compliance needs.
- Ensure the safety of the Club by keeping non-members, suspended members, unknown or barred visitors & adults from passing the front counter area without signing in and having a proper escort.
- Handle member belongings as part of the check-in process.
- Receive membership fees in accordance with policy and procedure.
- Answer telephone calls and disposition as needed.
- Perform administrative tasks as required.
- Other duties as required.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum one-year experience in administrative role, preferably in a youth group setting.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize job functions effectively.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a timely manner.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft suite, specifically Word and Excel, required.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Team player with high energy and strong interpersonal skills.
- Reliable transportation, safe driving record, active driver’s license, and automobile insurance is preferred
- Position may require standing/sitting for extended periods of time, reaching overhead, above the shoulders and horizontally, bending at the waist, and ability to lift, carry, pull or otherwise move objects up to 20lbs.
