Job Title: Membership Clerk
Reports to: Branch Manager
Classification: Non-Exempt
Mission: To enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens
Job Summary: The membership clerk is responsible for the reception/front desk area in the club. Duties include greeting of all guests, answering the phones, assisting with questions regarding club services, entering all member data in MyClubHub (club database).
Duties and Responsibilities
- Acknowledge and greet everyone who enters/leaves the club.
- Serve as first line for phone calls.
- Accurately promote the club and programs to potential club members and their families.
- Handle parent questions and concerns, where necessary.
- Accurately enter members into MyClubHub data system.
- Assist members with daily sign-in to the MyClubHub data system.
- Maintain files of members, inspection reports, and all process manuals.
- Assist in all areas of club operations as requested by the branch manager.
- Communicate effectively to management for any occurrences of staff or guests that require managerial attention.
- Regularly attend, participate in training and staff meetings.
- Maintain a positive attitude and contribute toward the positive qualities of the work environment.
Skills/Knowledge Required
- Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask.
- Ability to be productive and efficient in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Must possess basic math and money handling skills.
- Excellent communication, listening and computer skills.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 per week
