Responsibilities
- Ability to comply with Federal School Lunch and Summer Feeding regulations.
- Oversee all culinary operations within the organization, ensuring high standards of food quality and safety.
- Develop and implement engaging menu plans that cater to the nutritional needs of our youth.
- Manage kitchen staff, providing training and support to enhance their culinary skills.
- Coordinate catering events and special programs that promote community involvement.
- Collaborate with other departments to integrate culinary education into broader youth programs.
- Monitor inventory levels and manage food costs effectively to ensure sustainability.
- Stay updated on culinary trends and dietary guidelines to provide relevant programming.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in catering or food management roles, preferably in a non-profit or educational setting.
