This position is for our front desk/membership services. The hours are Monday-Friday 730 am to 12 pm. Hours could be longer depending on the membership coordinator. We are looking for someone to work all summer plus fill in during the remainder of the school year.
The applicant is responsible for taking payments, answering phones, greeting children and parents, monitoring visitors and volunteers, and providing general membership information to customers. Also includes processing memberships and data entry.
Essential Functions:
- Warmly and professionally greet all guests to the Club including parents, members, vendors, and administrative staff, ensuring that all interactions are positive, professional and responsive.
- Performs regular office duties including but not limited to answering phones, using online member tracking system and filing and copying documents and data entry.
- Perform all job responsibilities in compliance with current health department requirements.
- Receive and register new members including receipts of dues and fees.
- Maintain accurate membership and attendance records, as well as complete and accurate payment records, and other records as needed.
- Handling of payments).
- At all times, present yourself as a positive role model for youth.
- Assume other tasks, assignments and responsibilities as needed or directed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School diploma or equivalency. 18
- Demonstrated PC application proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook)
SKILLS:
- Strong customer service and organizational skills
- Demonstrated ability to interact with a range of people in an open friendly, customer oriented manner; able to work independently and relates well with school aged children.
- Office Equipment Operation and Management: e.g. computer, printer, scanner, copier, fax, telephone.
- Demonstrated ability with organizing and answering phone with proper phone etiquette
- Be comfortable working with children and adults in a fast-paced professional setting.
- Frequently lifts, carries or otherwise moves and positions objects weighing up to 25 pounds when receiving donations.
Knowledge of basic math, money handling, and customer service skills a plus!
Job Types: Part-time, Temporary
Pay: $16.66 per hour
Expected hours: 4.5 – 6 per week
