Summer is almost here, and the City of Bozeman is now recruiting for Short Term Recreation Leaders! Spend your summer making an impactful difference in our community working with school-aged children at our beautiful Story Mill Community Center and Park! Recreation Leaders are the stars of our summer camps and are responsible for a wide range of activities, from planning and implementing camp programs to making sure our campers and team alike have an outstanding summer.We will be hiring one short-term worker who is available to work weekday evenings starting May 1st to run our little league T-Ball program, and the rest of our summer team will start on May 21st. We are looking for employees who can work through August 22nd.Bargaining Unit: Not RepresentedFair Labor Standards Act Status: Non-ExemptWork Week: All positions work Monday through Friday. Specific shifts available are: Full-time positions, 40 hours/week, either 8am-4pm Part-time positions, 20 hours/week, either 12pm-4pm OR 2pm-6pmLength of Assignment: not to exceed 90 working days or 520 hours, whichever comes first
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Must be of legal age to perform the duties of the position;Experience working with children is desired, but not required;Experience with recreation programming is desired, but not required;CPR/First Aid Certification must be completed within two weeks of hire (training/certification will be provided by the City.)
