Job Description : - Assist with planning, directing, organizing, monitoring, and staffing the Case Management Department in alignment with regulatory agencies' policies, budgets, objectives, and directives.- Provide oversight of case management, discharge planning, and utilization review.- Lead, direct, supervise, oversee, and guide management, medical staff, and clinical staff in planning, promoting, and conducting organization-wide case management activities.- Ensure comprehensive departmental services comply with all regulatory agencies and healthcare system requirements.- Foster a collaborative departmental approach to strategic operational planning, care and service design, and policy development reflecting the mission of the organization.- Coordinate and oversee organization-wide departmental services and continuously assess, measure, and improve departmental performance.- Demonstrate responsible management of all departmental resources and clinical / technical and managerial competency.- Ensure staff professional needs are met and lead, teach, inspire, help, and consistently demonstrate healthcare system behavioral standards. Please note, candidates must live at least 90 miles from the facility to be considered for assignment. The facility reserves the right to cancel three shifts per the 13-week contract in the event of low census or other unforeseen circumstances.
