Position Overview:
As the Logistics Billing Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely billing for transportation services, auditing freight invoices, working with internal teams and external carriers, and resolving billing discrepancies.
Responsibilities:
Generating and processing invoices for transportation services rendered.
Verifying freight charges and billing rates against contracts, tariffs, or rate sheets.
Validating and reconciling billable charges against dispatch records, bills of lading and proof of delivery
Investigating and resolving billing discrepancies, credit memos, and chargebacks.
Communicating with carriers, vendors, and customers to address invoices, billing issues or discrepancies and providing prompt resolutions
Maintaining up to date billing records and ensuring compliance with customer billing terms in accounting systems
Supporting month end closing activities by ensuring all invoices are issued within established timelines
Collaborating with internal departments such as Customer Service, Accounts Receivable, and Logistics to ensure seamless operations.
Preparing reports related to billing activities, freight costs, and billing trends.
Perform other duties as assigned by leadership
Experience:
Preferred: High School Diploma or equivalent
Preferred: Two (2) years of experience in billing, preferably in transportation, logistics, or supply chain.
Preferred: Strong knowledge of freight billing, LTL/FTL terminology, and transportation documentation.
Preferred: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with ERP or Transportation Management Systems (TMS).

Monday – Friday
8:30:am – 5:00pm
Environment:
Warehouse Office – approx. 65F – 75F
