The Senior Geoscientist will be responsible for leading the Eagle Ford Development team in optimizing hydrocarbon reserves and production output. Main Responsibilities
- Resource progression through optimization opportunities and appraisal strategies
- Geological operations, including data integration and correlation of drilling events with subsurface anomalies/features
- Communication with third-party geo-steerers, mudlogging vendors, rig personnel, and drilling personnel
Requirements
- Master's degree in Geology or related field
- Minimum 7 years of industry experience in unconventional reservoirs
- Advanced mapping skills/interpretation, play assessment, evaluation planning, petrophysics interpretation, exploration, data analytics, project management, operational execution
Key Performance Indicators
- Increase hydrocarbon reserves and production output
- Optimize resource progression
- Ensure effective communication with third-party vendors and personnel
Working Conditions
This role requires minimal travel and is eligible for remote work options.
