Responsibilities:
Responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of heavy equipment, including industrial machinery.

Use diagnostic computers on Mack, Volvo, International trucks as well as automotive vehicles to identify and diagnose mechanical issues.
Welding and repairs.
Hydraulics trouble shooting.
Troubleshoot, repair, and replace electrical systems and components.
Collaborate with other technicians and mechanics to ensure efficient and effective maintenance and repair operations.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs, including documentation of work completed and parts used.
Stay up to date with the latest OEM guidelines and best practices for heavy equipment maintenance and repair.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with heavy equipment in a timely and efficient manner.
Follow all company safety policies, procedures and safety regulations as well as use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment.
Safe use of power and handheld tools.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a heavy equipment mechanic or service technician.
Strong knowledge of diesel engine repair.
Mechanical knowledge.
Familiarity with equipment and OEM guidelines.
Experience with automotive diagnostics and repair.
Ability to transmit complex technical information to others.
Physical stamina to lift and maneuver heavy equipment and tools.
High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or degree in a related field is a plus.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and safe environment in order to meet deadlines.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Driver's License (Required)
CDL License not required (Preferred)
Medical Card (Preferred)
Experience working with Caterpillar, Komatsu, and Tigercat equipment is a plus but not required.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of diesel engine repair.
