Diesel Technician Responsibilities
- Diagnose, document, and repair engine, transmission, and major component fault codes using OEM software and company-supplied laptops.
- Perform troubleshooting, service, and repairs on all components, along with preventative maintenance & reconditioning.
- Ensure compliance with warranty procedures and follow OEM guidelines.
- Attend OEM & dealer training (both online and in-person) as required.
- Participate in Continuous Improvement Initiatives & the DTNA Elite Support Program.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Isuzu Certified or DTNA Certified Diesel Technician required (or willingness to obtain certification).
- 3 years of experience as a diesel, fleet, or heavy equipment mechanic.
- Formal training in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining Class 3-7 vehicles preferred but not required.
- Strong technical and troubleshooting skills with effective problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication & teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with co-workers and drivers.
