Summary: The primary goal of the Client Support Team is to provide a wide range of technical, administrative and relationship support services to our clients, both internal and external. To be the first point of contact for service needs for our clients is our top priority. This position requires strong relationship management skills and the ability to keep information confidential. This position requires attention to detail and will assist with special projects as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Explain our systems and give a brief overview to the client.
- Serve as first point of contact for client support requests.
- Interact with clients and build relationships with them while ensuring their needs are met.
- Support communication between client and BPM service teams.
- Handle sensitive situations with diplomacy and understand when to escalate issues to the Client Services Manager.
- Provide support to BPM Partners and Directors.
- Be responsible for contacting clients for outstanding documents.
- Provide clear and professional instruction both written and verbal.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Minimum one year of related experience required; preferably in with an accounting firm.
- Knowledge of computer programs or comfortable learning: SafeSend, CCH Axcess, Excel, Outlook, Adobe, Word, DocuSign.
- Ability to handle sensitive situations and confidential information with discretion.
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Ability to develop relationships, build rapport, and effectively interface with all levels within the firm.
Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with data management a plus.
- Familiarity with public accounting is a plus. (This position does not provide tax advise however knowledge of basic tax forms and requirements is helpful.)
