Founded in 1975, BR A Consulting Engineers maintains a total staff of over 500 employees located at our main office in Boston and branch offices in New York City, NY; Philadelphia, PA; Vienna, VA (Washington, DC); Coral Gables, FL (Miami); Chicago, IL; St. Louis, MO; Tampa, FL; Charlotte, NC; Charleston, SC; Houston, TX; and New Haven, CT. BR A provides state-of-the-art integrated and coordinated mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection consulting engineering, technology systems design, lighting design, and building commissioning services.
BR A is seeking an experienced Plumbing Engineer to join our talented team at our headquarters in Boston, MA. The ideal candidate will have 10 years of experience, an engineering degree, be a registered Professional Engineer, and possess the following abilities :
- Experience designing of Plumbing systems for Healthcare and Higher Education projects;
- Proficient in Auto CAD and Revit;
- Experience in specification writing;
- Performs field verification and take-offs of existing systems for renovation projects;
- Coordinates with other disciplines;
- Develops calculations for Plumbing / FP systems
- Thorough knowledge of Massachusetts plumbing code, model codes and NFPA;
- Strongly motivated, well organized, shows professional initiative;
- Takes ownership of assignments, works both independently and as part of the
project team;
