The experienced Senior Plumbing Engineer will support the P/FP department as well as design teams on projects in producing construction documents. Responsibilities include performing; layout and sizing of piping systems; perform hydraulic calculations and equipment selections, as well as coordinating with architectural and structural building components.
Position Responsibilities
Lead Plumbing Engineer on projects.
Responsible for production, documentations and review of calculations (all plumbing systems), drawings and specifications for all assigned projects.
Construction Administration duties: site visits, submittal & RFI reviews/responses.
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff and clients.
Mentoring team staff.
Qualifications
Minimum of 10 years Plumbing and Fire Protection Engineering experience.
P.E. (Mechanical) in MA, preferred. Surrounding states.
BSME
Possess a strong technical background, and knowledge of Plumbing systems, their applications and code requirements for various commercial, institutional, medical, and public buildings such as healthcare, biotech, higher education, office, and large mixed-use residential buildings and hotels.
Full knowledge and understanding of the Massachusetts State Plumbing Code and the Fuel Gas Code.
Management experience.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Salary : $113,500 - $155,900
