Brad Foote Gearing, a division of Broadwind, is seeking Hobbing / Turning Machine Operators to join our team in Cicero, IL.
We have openings on second and third shift, Monday - Friday, with overtime as necessary.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Run operation in each machine in the cell by operate a tape lathe, gear hobber, deburr machine and a machine center simultaneouslyCheck the Route Sheet and blueprint for the operation and instructionsInstall piece part into machinesCheck run out in machinesChange cutting tools in each machine in cellCheck sizes and remove piece parts from machinesMake size corrections in each machine in the cellDeburr and stamp piece parts per blueprint or Route SheetInspect partsPackage parts for shippingFollow the bar-coding procedures per SOPDeburrs, stamps, insects and packages the parts produced in the cellInform supervisor or a lead person for assisted setups, which operation may require indication and alignmentRead and understand drawings of product and understand all written work instructions All other duties as assigned
