Duties and Responsibilities:include the following; other duties may be assigned.
- Set up and run machine with instructions from the foreman.
- Will monitor quality and adjust offsets in machine to hold tolerances per the blueprint specifications during production.
- Inspect finished work pieces to determine conformance to specifications, using measuring instruments such as gauges and micrometers.
- Observe machine operations to detect any problems; make necessary adjustments to correct problems.
- Set and adjust machine controls according to product specifications, utilizing knowledge of machine operation.
- Study blueprints and work orders to determine product specifications.
- Will oil and stack all finished parts neatly on a pallet or a box.
Requirements:
- Must have experience in Manual Lathe. Experience in CNC Lathe is a plus.
- Must have experience in working with large prototype parts and know how to use a crane.
- Must have knowledge of what tooling needs to be used for certain types of materials.
- Know speeds and feeds for different types of tooling.
- Know right angle trigonometry to figure out angles
- Know how to use a sine bar
- Know how to read and have a good understanding of blueprints
- Must have experience with inspection tools such as micrometer, gauges, calipers, etc.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
