The ideal candidate will have a degree in Early Childhood Education, be CPR and First Aid certified, and have experience working in a preschool or similar setting. However, we are open to candidates who may not have formal education but have a passion for working with young children and are eager to learn and grow.
Responsibilities: Create developmentally appropriate lesson plans with a focus on hands-on learning through play, teach daily Bible lessons, maintain effective and positive classroom management, interact well with students, parents and colleagues, and provide regular communication with staff and families.

Duties
Some of the responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the care and supervision for the kids in your classroom by creating a safe learning environment. The lead teacher is responsible for creating, preparing and executing a weekly lesson plan using the theme for the week, including a daily Bible lesson, activities, and the Abeka curriculum provided. This will include teaching developmentally appropriate skills to help the children reach their milestones and be prepared for kindergarten and beyond! They will teach social and emotional skills such as turn taking, raising their hand, communication, and sharing. It is important that our staff are able to work together well and support one another as we play an integral role in our student's foundation spiritually and academically.
Requirements
Requirements for this position include:
- Speaks English
- High School Diploma or GED
- Successfully pass background check
- 1 year teaching experience, or equivalent
- Love for children and a passion to help them grow spiritually and academically
Nice To Haves
- Associate's degree or higher in early childhood education or other related field
- Pediatric First Aid and CPR certification
