Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the treatment team to ensure quality care and effective case management for patients with substance use disorders.
- Adhere to professional code of ethics and maintain accurate documentation reflecting delivered care.
- Support and coordinate patient's progress on treatment objectives through individual, group, and family therapy.
- Uphold Bradford Health Services Philosophy and Standards of Treatment, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Social or Behavioral Science preferred, or High School equivalency.
- Experience in addiction treatment preferred.
- CPRS required within the first 6 months of employment.
- Ability to provide clear, concise, and relevant information on chemical dependency and recovery in a lecture format.
- Effective communication skills in a dignified and respectful manner.
- Motivational skills to assist patients through denial and resistance to treatment.
- Capability to work cooperatively with colleagues, managers, clients, and prospective clients.
- Capable of being certified and administering CPR and First Aid.
- Able to walk within the facility approximately ½ mile per 8-hour shift.
- Ability to continuously sit from ½ to 4 hours per 8-hour shift.
- Must be able to see (corrected) and hear (hearing aid acceptable).
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness for safe job performance.
