Position Summary:
Bradley is seeking a production oriented Senior QA/BA for a hybrid position. This role will combine duties of both professions to support 3rd party legal applications, MS Office and Windows, in-house development, and windows desktop patches. In addition, this position will assist with the selection and testing of new models of user-facing hardware, such as laptops and monitors. This position reports directly to the Director of the Project Management Office (PMO) and will work alongside the QC Analyst. This position will work closely with the user experience/practice solutions teams as well as the end user computing and other IT teams.
Position Responsibilities:
- Lead the testing team to deliver on multiple projects and operational testing needs while helping to create a culture of quality and excellence.
- Collaborate with teams across the organization to strategize and align long term quality solutions for testing including roadmap, tools, framework and approach.
- Assist with creating and managing Quality Assurance and Quality Control policies, processes, and procedures. This may include the creation of templates, process workflows, presentations, or other documents to effectively communicate and implement them.
- Track, report on and drive defect resolution for defects discovered during testing or reported to the PMO; includes issues discovered as part of projects or issues discovered in production.
- Conduct risk analysis for both projects and operational activities and work with leadership to mitigate or accept those risks.
- Conduct, analyze, and report on trends using our ticket tracking system.
- Collaborate across the organization to create, document, and maintain a library of test scripts.
- Create, implement, and audit quality management plans for various project and operational procedures.
- Conduct and coordinate smoke, regression, user acceptance and other types of testing across the organization.
- Analyze and test new products in coordination with the user experience/practice solutions team.
- Collaborate with the user experience/practice solutions, training and operational teams to review project or operational process design and implementation and their impact on quality.
- Collaborate with project managers to provide realistic analysis, documentation and testing timelines.
- Lead focus groups on specific topics related to applications within the firm and new applications that are being considered for deployment.
Job Requirements:
Position Requirements and Desired Skills:
- Four-year college degree or equivalent experience, preferred
- Mid-level Quality Assurance certification, such as ISTQB, CAST, CSQA or CMSQ highly preferred
- Law firm experience serving multiple practice groups is preferred
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Proficient with Microsoft Visio
- Possess advanced skills in the usage of the Microsoft Windows operating system
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Experience in 3rd party application testing automation
- Accuracy, attention to detail and good organizational skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong time-management skills and ability to multi-task
- Strong client service focus and ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Self-motivation and ability to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to exercise confidentiality and discretion
- Some travel may be required
