Assembly and packaging for finished products may also be required.
Must be proficient in polishing techniques for most relevant materials.
Adheres to quality and safety standards.
This is a 1st shift opportunity.
The shift is 5 : 00am to 1 : 30pm Here's how you'll contribute : Proficient in most polishing techniques for relevant materials Proficient in equipment set-ups to prepare product for final assembly Understands and engages in department metrics Proficient in scrap out procedures Interprets blueprints
- Responsible for individual production schedule expectations
- Proficient within applicable computer programs and scanning operations
- Proficient in most Standard Operating Procedures for applicable department / cell
- Knowledge of product packaging procedures and labeling
- Completes Industrial Lift Certification (as needed) Meets productivity expectations
- Proficient understanding of department specific tools and measuring equipment
- Sustains inventory and parts replenishment system Supports Continuous Improvement Participates in department meetings effectively Supports new product initiatives
- Essential Duties and Responsibilities Here's why we want you : High school diploma or General Education Diploma graduate (courses in Industrial Arts preferred), and one (1) to three (3) plus years of polishing experience required; or equivalent or equivalent combination of education and training.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
The employee is required to stand for extended periods of time.
The employee must regularly lift and / or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and / or move up to 50 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
Respirators are required; therefore, successful completion of pulmonary function and fit tests are required.
Ability to acquire skills and knowledge of polishing techniques and procedures.
