Summary
The Painter plays an integral role in the success of our team and our community by creating a place our residents are proud to call home. You will be responsible for providing unparalleled service to our residents by assisting in the painting and upkeep of our apartment homes and community. This role is responsible for freshening each room with a detailed and exceptional painting job. The Painter is well-rounded and a team player that ensures resident satisfaction and the finest hospitality with each project and resident interaction.
Essential Job Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities
- Paint walls, doors and ceilings in apartment homes and common areas. Drywall repairs and patching completed to ensure aesthetic appearance
- Mix, match and apply paint, stain, enamel and other finishes using brushes, spray equipment or rollers
- Fill cracks, holes, and joints with caulk, putty, plaster and other fillers using appropriate tools
- Interact positively with residents to maintain high levels of resident satisfaction
- Demonstrate strong professionalism and integrity as a representative of the community
- Contribute to cleanliness and curb appeal of the community
- Comply with all industry Fair Housing rules and regulations
- Operate within OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Act) standards and company safety policies at all times
- Other duties as assigned by Property Manager

Education and Experience
Tools
Tools and equipment listed are representative of those typically used; other tools and equipment may be used as needed. Use of cleaning products and equipment such as vacuum cleaners, brooms and mops are required. Additionally, employee may use snow removal equipment such as shovels and / or snow blowers.
Supervisory Responsibility
This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; stoop; kneel; climb stairs; crawl; lift, push or pull objects (up to 50 pounds); talk; and / or hear.
