What are the responsibilities and job description for the IV / Pharmacy Tech - PRN position at BRADLEY MEDICAL CENTER LLC?
The Pharmacy Technician performs those duties that provide pharmaceutical care under the direct supervision of a pharmacist. These duties include, but are not limited to: order entry, medication cart filling, making IV admixtures using sterile technique, maintaining pharmacy inventory, filling employee prescriptions, processing charges, and maintaining floor stocks of medications.
Education: High school graduate or GED equivalent preferred
Experience: One year of experience in a hospital or medical environment is preferred.
Licenses/Certificates: Current Tennessee Pharmacy Technician registration is required within 90 days of employment*.
Certification by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board or equivalent national certification board within 90 days of employment*.

- An individual enrolled in or a graduate of a recognized school or college of pharmacy is defined as a pharmacy intern (TAC 63-10-204) and exempt from this registration requirement.
