Key Responsibilities
As a valued member of our team, you will:
- Conduct legal research and analysis to interpret laws, rulings, and regulations.
- Draft and review essential legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, contracts, and agreements.
- Participate in all phases of litigation, including discovery, motion practice, depositions, hearings, and trials.
- Build strong relationships through effective communication with clients, opposing counsel, and stakeholders.
- Represent clients in court proceedings, conferences, and meetings.
- Maintain detailed and organized case files, documenting all activities, communications, and developments.
- Drive business development initiatives and foster lasting client relationships.
Qualifications
We are looking for candidates who bring:
- A Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
- At least 4 years of legal experience or CPA certification in lieu of years of experience.
- A valid Iowa Bar license or ability to obtain.
