Embroidery Machine Operator

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Machine Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse operations and a strong background in garment construction. This role involves operating sewing machines and fabricating products with precision and attention to detail. The Machine Operator will play a crucial role in ensuring that production runs smoothly and efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate sewing machines to assemble and fabricate garments according to specifications.
• Monitor the production process, ensuring that machinery is functioning correctly and making adjustments as necessary.
• Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
• Inspect finished products for quality assurance, ensuring they meet company standards.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and improve production efficiency.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
• Assist in training new employees on machine operation and safety procedures.

Skills

• Proficient in operating sewing machines with a strong understanding of garment construction techniques.
• Experience in warehouse environments, demonstrating the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify defects or issues in products quickly.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the capability to troubleshoot machinery as needed.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
• Familiarity with fabric types and their properties is a plus.

Job Type: Temp-to-hire

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 50 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Evening shift
• Morning shift
• Weekends as needed

Supplemental Pay:

• Bonus opportunities

Ability to Commute:
