The SVP will drive the strategy and execution of power marketing and trading activities, ensuring profitability and growth while managing risks effectively.
ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute Power Marketing StrategyTrading Operations and StrategyMarket Analytics and FundamentalsPerformance Analysis and ReportingRisk Management (mid-office)Team Leadership & Development
QualificationsMinimum of 10-12 years of experience in the power industry with a proven track record of successful leadership in areas of power marketing and / or trading.Demonstrated success originating and closing relevant structured and long-term transactions.Strong understanding of power markets including regulatory frameworks, market dynamics, and pricing mechanisms.Advanced knowledge of risk management tools and trading platforms.Excellent analytical skills with the ability to analyze market data, assess risks, and make informed decisions.Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Nimble, self-starter that is comfortable with the pace and scale of a startup environment.Bachelor’s degree
