Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated employee with a dental insurance background to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dental private practice office. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in scheduling new patients to the office while working with the head New Patient Coordinator. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment. You will spend many hours a day on the phone and your personal communicative skills are vital to this job.
Duties:
Phone conversations with new patients
Gathering and verifying insurance information
Retrieving records from previous offices.
Welcoming the patient to our office describing the office polices and setting.
Sending medical consultations for those patients with detailed medical histories.
Working with the other coordinators for seamless transition to our office.
Qualifications:
- Previous setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with medical administrative support tasks including documentation review and clerical duties.
- Proficiency with dental software systems such as Eaglesoft is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients and team members.
- Attention to detail with excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
