Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Night Auditor to join our hospitality team. The Night Auditor plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel during overnight hours, providing exceptional guest services while managing financial transactions and reporting. This position requires a blend of customer service skills and accounting knowledge, making it ideal for individuals with a passion for the hospitality industry. This position does require Week-ends coverage.
Duties
- Perform nightly audits of financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with hotel policies.
- Handle guest check-ins and check-outs, providing excellent guest services and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Maintain accurate records of room availability and reservations.
- Process payments and manage cash handling procedures efficiently.
- Utilize phone systems to communicate effectively with guests and staff.
- Prepare daily financial reports and summaries for management review.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized front desk area.
- Provide support to guests regarding hotel amenities, services, and local attractions.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations during night shifts.
Requirements
- Previous experience in guest services or hospitality is preferred.
- Familiarity with night audit procedures within a hotel or resort setting is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on guest relations.
- Proficiency in using phone systems and basic computer software applications.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse guests.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts while maintaining professionalism at all times.
- A background in hotel management or related fields is advantageous.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $15.50 per hour
Expected hours: 24 – 32 per week
